Ever since getting the new computer I have been trying to re download AVG antivirus. I've been using avast, but I just prefer AVG over all antivirus programs. Well, since I have dial-up it is virtually impossible to download AVG because it says it takes over 8 hours to download!!! WTF?!?!? After i've been online for almost 4 hours PeoplePC kick me offline, so there is no way I can download AVG.........
Just another reason why I despise dial-up!!!!

OMG, we downloaded our first AVG with dial-up and I don't remember it taking that long. We do have AVG 8 now, and I love it, it must have much more to it than the first one we downloaded--8 hours!?!?!?! Arrrrgghhh!!!
Ahhh, I remember PeoplePC, I didn't stay with them long because Juno and NetZero were a dollar cheaper at the time. LOL!
It was unreal...I miss having AVG. :( I may give it a shot again soon....I just wish they offered it on cd!
I had been with NetZero and Juno, but believe it or not, PeoplePc was faster.....well, as fast as dial-up can be! LOL
LOL! I guess I couldn't tell because at that time we went from one dial-up to the next. I loved being able to pay a year in advance. :D
